Help Us Locate Heritage Newspapers

The Preserving Local History and Educational Trust needs your help. We are seeking your assistance to track down hard-to-find newspapers.

Some newspapers published in New Zealand were short-lived and exist in only a single issue or a handful of issues. No issues of some have ever been located. We are seeking any information you may have about the titles in the lists provided.

The Trust will use this information to ensure that the newspapers it digitises and provides access to are as complete as possible, and to check the preservation status of a title.

    Very few issues have been located for November and December 1962.

    Waitakere Gazette.

    No issues have been located for 1957.

    West Coast Gazette.

    No issues have been located for 1949 and 1950.
